BLM Protest in Redlands stays Calm

On Saturday Jun 6th, a peaceful protest occurred in downtown Redlands Ed Hales park.

The police estimates are that over 1000 people attended including guest speaker Monte Clark and U. S. Rep Pete Aguilar.

This protest hood no violence kept calm with no one hurt or arrested. The Redlands police Department did shut down State Street and all streets around the park so no one could get injured.This protest heard no violence kept calm with no one hurt or arrested. At one point Clark asked “why say piece and not justice? I am tired of no justice. we are not asking the government for anything crazy, we are asking for justice and equality”

This was one of the key turning points of this protest or even police who where there also agreed.

Another guest speakers was Rep. Peate Agualr who did speak but could not be asked to comment about what he had plan to do to help nor about his comments at the rally
