Kendall Fire in San Bernardino Burns Homes on the first day under County Fire

A vegetation fire broke out 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2nd in San Bernardino has left three firefighters injured one from heat exhaustion and another from smoke inhalation, with multiple homes burned

While the fire has an ongoinginvestigation arson or fireworks have not been ruled out as a cause I was told . Residents I talked to said they saw someone set the blaze, and herd small bangs and pops.
The blaze is being called the Kendall fire and  burned 10 acres of vegetation around Edgerton and Skylark drives on Little Mountain
Reports also have one civilian was also injured from smoke inhalation.

As I was there I had reports saying five homes caught fire, and four of them were total losses. Mandatory evacuations were put into place for people who live around the fire and west of Pershing Avenue.
